Meet team SCRAPPY!
TEAM SCRAPPY from Langdon, ND, pictured with Dr. Svetomir Markovic, donated $9,000 to the 2012 SOS Run! The money was raised at a benefit run and through t-shirt sales. The t-shirts sold were designed by 9 yr old Emma whose father passed away of melanoma nearly 3 years ago.

A Message from the Founder
It has been over 15 years since I was diagnosed with metastatic malignant melanoma. Since then over 800,000 people have been diagnosed and nearly 138,000 have died from melanoma in the United States. Researchers at the Mayo Clinic are committed to finding a cure. In just 4 years we have raised over $140,000 to help Mayo Clinic fight melanoma and had over 4,300 participants and over 400 volunteers. Melanoma has had such an impact on so many individuals and families and we realize we cannot be content but must continue our fight! Thank you for your continued support and remember always protect yourself from the sun.
